DBS bank is having a credit card promotion called 'My preferred payment plan', 0 procesing fee and 0% interest for the maximum of 12 months' intalment. After making the purcase, for example based on the AG level, S$9600 (which you actually pay only $7,190.40 after the discount, monthly instalment will be S$599/month), call the bank and inform them that you wish to convert to instalment plan, then submit the necessary application, which usually they will approve. Since card holder is enjoying interest free instalments, there will be no points to the credit card. No early repayment allowed unless card holder does not mind paying a penalty of S$150.
